Overview:

Most people are taught to separate Tai Chi for self-defense/ martial application and Tai Chi for Qigong—as if they are on separate paths. In the Tai Chi United system, we reveal that each are misunderstood and in fact, follow the same path.

Through the movements in our Dragon forms, you’ll explore how proper alignment, structure, and internal activation are essential both for effective martial applications and for full qi and blood flow within the body. Without correct internal conditions, there can be neither real martial power nor true energetic cultivation.

In these two interactive seminars, Damian Neve will guide you through the martial logic and energetic mechanisms behind each movement, while Shirley Ha (Chock) will lead in-person students through embodiment and partner practice to experience the principles firsthand.

You’ll learn to:

  • Understand how martial integrity in movements leads to optimal health

  • Feel the connection between power generation and qi/ blood flow

  • Apply Tai Chi’s principles for self-defense, health, and vitality as one system

  • Train your body to express effortless strength through internal harmony

Attend one or both sessions—each stands on its own—but attending both provides the fullest understanding of how Tai Chi’s martial and qigong dimensions merge into a single, living art.

The class takes place on...

  • November 16 at 1:00 pm (Sunday)
  • December 14 at 1:00 pm (Sunday)
